The Process

Crafted Woods

Shaped by hand. Guided by nature.

At Crafted Woods, every serving and cutting board is individually designed and handcrafted in Henniker, New Hampshire. Rather than following a fixed pattern, each board is shaped to highlight the unique grain, color, and natural character already present in the wood.

The photographs below provide a step-by-step look at the process of creating a handcrafted serving board—from rough lumber to the final finished piece. While every board follows the same careful process, each one is unique, reflecting the individual character of the wood.
