In the 1980s I built single-family homes, and from 2008\u2013\n2018 I designed and built wooden sailboats \u2014 projects requiring structural precision, careful material\nselection, and long-term durability.\nAfter retiring in 2020 from a 28-year career in real estate appraisal, I returned full-time to\nwoodworking. Through Crafted Woods, I design and build solid hardwood cutting and serving\nboards using carefully selected lumber and time-tested joinery methods. My work emphasizes clean\nlines, balanced grain orientation, and durable construction.
